ABOUT THE BADGERS

The Hescott’s have a very deep love of Badgers.

It all started with Donnas husband Matt. As a child Matthew Hescott had a beloved soccer playing Border Collie called Badger.

So when we arrived at Sylvan glen over 20 years ago with a baby on the way, we couldn’t wait to collect Our First Sylvan Glen Border Collie – Badger 2.

Badger 2 lived a very long and very happy life playing golf with the boy’s and endless hours of entertaining children and even joining brides down the aisle.

Sadly, after 15 years of running 68 acres every day he eventually wore himself and was laid to rest on the property.

Deeply missed we reluctantly brought in another puppy Badger 3

He quickly took on the roll and very happily enjoyed this roll for four years until he also got poorly and had to leave.

The latest Badger, Badger4 has an assistant Foxy1.

Together they now absolutely love getting up to mischief and spend most their days being adored by guests.

So now you know just why our wedding candle just had to have the Badgers involved.

The wedding badgers were brought to life by a very talented lady in the Uk using the method of Felting.

We wish them well in their new roles as head of marketing.
